History

The Cerritos Center for the Performing Arts (CCPA) is one of North America’s most innovative multi-configurational performing arts centers. This versatile architectural marvel has built its award-winning reputation on the breadth and depth of its programming, ease of access to the hall and its events, and the quality of experience it provides for artists and audiences alike.

After 10 years of planning, the CCPA opened on January 13, 1993. Today it is acclaimed as an innovator in theater architecture and a model of success in the performing arts world. Centrally located, the CCPA draws audiences from Los Angeles, Orange County, and the Inland Empire, earning it a unique place on the region’s cultural map.
